Many thanks to Chris, Lucy, Mel, Warren, et al...for responding to my query. I think it makes for a wonderful, lively discussion and I respect the many points of view presented in this forum. What fun! Thanks also to Mr. Halstead for promptly and courteously responding (via e-mail).

Thank you Lucy for being kind enough to respond with info that you thought I had missed. You make a good point. I do think that some of us do tend to get carried away with analysis, when we might get better results by being content with what works.

I did, in fact, already have the info you forwarded in your message. I don't believe, however that my curiosity about the new Z cups could fairly be described as obsessive-nor do I expect PHC to divulge carefully guarded trade secrets. I simply wanted a little more than the cosmetic and commercial information PHC used to peak our interest. If I lived in the U.K. and had ready acces to the new equipment I would simply try one out to discern its qualities. Since it looks like it's going to be a while before I will be able to do so, the only things I have to go on are specs.

If I had never heard of the new Z cup, I'm certain I would remain happy and content with my current PHC. However, in defense of inquiring minds, I must point out that, because curious people asked questions, we now know that the sun does not orbit around a flat Earth. (please do not infer any sarcasm-I assure you, none was intended)
