It is about 6am, 12/29/04. I'm very angry because I woke up this morning at 3am with a fat, swollen top lip! In my sleep, I felt this tight tingly feeling, a feeling that I felt recently about a month ago; the first time this ever happened. I put ice on it immediately for the first 40 minutes and my lip went down. I went back to sleep and now I look like a freak! I took an anti-inflamatory that my doctor had prescribed for my swollen foot, which I hurt in Karate class earlier this year. It's called ETODOLAC ER 500MG. It worked last time on my lip, but took all day to go down.

Maybe I have an allergy to some food. Maybe it's cheese. I never eat cheese, but the first time this happened, I had Monterey Jack cheese on a pizza, then last night I had Monterey Jack on a burrito.

Best thing to do is keep a journal, I think, of the things you did/ate before the swelling. All I know is that this makes me mad because I have to miss work! Meanwhile I'm at home looking like a fish!
