Subject: cups and tuning
Is it normal to find that changing to a different cup will require retuning? I've just been trying a 24a, after using a 22a for some time, and find that with it I play flat (trying here to be careful not to blame the hardware..) and need to push main and valve slides in. Perhaps I naturally play lower in the 'slot' with the deeper cup - and the 24a does seem deep; deeper even than the 25a that I have.
