Are you telling us that due to the searing white-hot intensity of your sound, a PHC mouthpiece rim (or any other rim) takes an a new shape, not a round shape?
I do know that if you measure a non -metal rim (plastic, acetal, delrin or acetal) when cold, it is about 0.mm ( 1/10th of a millimeter) smaller in OD (outer diameter)then when it has warmed up, but the overall shape (round) remains the same.
