I have an engineer friend who says that the taper on an Alex mouthpiece shank is a 'Shaw #3'.
So, if PHC can replicate this taper for Alex players, and if Paxmans can somehow redeem themselves from all the ill-feeling about PHC's being out of stock, we will have
The Shaw-Shank Redemption!
