I'm sorry about your limited 'grades' but I didn't mention grades, I was referring to the HARMONIC SERIES a predictably out of tune (in parts) series of pitches or tones that the 'unfingered' or open horn produces. With an open bell (no hand inserted) one can sound all pitches up to about harmonic 12-13 but after that all the pitches slide into each other unless you have a 'correct' hand position. Do I make myself clear?
