I am not sure and now confused. I think we are playing different instruments. My french horn is also called a double horn. Looking at your last name I guess english isn't your first language. My horn has valves and the bell is only open at the one end. I think I can play all the notes if my hand is on the edge or on the flat part in orchestra. If I play chromatically I can play all 12 notes and that goes up and down almost two octaves or more. Maybe you guys use a different scale. I am not sure what you mean by HARMONIC SERIES. Is that part of the instrument or are you talking about something inside a piece of music. I play the first part in our band most of the time so the teacher always tells the other to mix with me when we play slow music.
