Thanks Tom, you identified what measurement I'm looking for:
"the small end of the mouthpiece sitting as exactly as possible where that taper ends and the mouthpipe venturi is, that measurement would be needed"

So... Can anyone tell me the exact measurement of the end of a PHC shank?
