Mitutoyo; nice. I've got one of those and I get pretty much the same measurement at the small end of PHC (and many other) mouthpieces, plus or minus... Hence, given that it seems reasonable to avoid too much of a 'step' between mouthpiece end and venturi I can't see why one would want a venturi that measured at anything other than 7.5. Consequently, that's the size I make the venturi of my mouthpipes.
