1-1.5 hours a day means a 4 to 6 months to blow in.
6 hours a day and about 1 month will see it (hear it) blown in.
Blowing in means resonating the metals' molecules at every frequency (pitch) that the horn is capable of sounding.
( OK all you grammatical to##ers, 'every pitch at which the horn is capable of sounding').
if I won the lottery I would have built a vibrating 'resonance machine' so that this could be done to a new horn without all the hard work!
