Wrong Mr 'Waiter', maybe you should 'Wait' for the new shipment of PHC stuff when it arrives at Paxmans if you're so dubious about 2nd-hand goods.
For your info, current PHC prices (soon to go up so I understand,)'new' from Paxmans are:
CUP £27.65
GOLD RIM £20.45
ACETAL RIM £14.10
NICKEL-SILVER RIM £13.10

2ND HAND PRICES FROM 'HALSTEAD MUSIC' are
GOLD RIM £14.95 ( 73.1% of new price)
ACETAL RIM £9.95 ( 70.5% " " " )
NICKEL-SILVER RIM £9.00 ( 68.7% " " " )

You say "I've expect (sic)a 2nd hand rim or cup to be more than half retail price."
You've expectations are quite correct....these 2nd hand rims are indeed 'about 70%' of the new price.
