Don't listen to these vacuous amateurs, practice never made anyone any better!
You need to constantly change m'pieces and instruments until that illusive high E comes sailing out with ease, I have.
Can I suggest a Vincent Bach (any size) with a large lump of blue-tack carefully inserted to produce something akin to a breakfast bowl. Try using a Conn 8D with a modified lead pipe and ascending 5th valve.
If you're not irritating your colleagues by playing the Siegfried Horn Call an octave higher than written I'll eat my therapist's hat.
