As for the instrument, yes it was incredibly good value for money, a steal one might say. It plays very well but does have slightly leaky valves. They may be fine after the bearings are tightened, my enquiry was to see how much re-plating would be should that be necessary.
Saying that, I don't know of any player whose had their valves re-plated, do you?
