Post subject:  Direction of air stream?

HI all I noticed recently that my natural embouchure creates an airstream which travels downwards in angle is this counter intuitive? I asked my teacher (who's opinion I trust) who said that I should be trying to blow straighter. I also noticed from some research that it is normal for players to either have an "upstream" or "downstream" but what do you think?

thanks

Rhodri
